I am the second owner. While I had this machine, it was always kept in a plastic case. I inherited a few cosmetic scuffs on the bottom surface, one ding on the corner and some discoloration around the edge of the screen. (See photos) Note these of three pictures showing the screen discoloration. They were taken with the screen brightness set to 0, 1, and max. As you can see, this doesn’t have much affect on the usability of the screen, which is otherwise beautiful. Machine will ship with a fresh install of El Capitan.
